Minnesota Lions Clubs are part of an international organization that helps people who are in need and people with disabilities, both locally and around the world. It is the largest club in the world with over 1.4 million members. There are more than 650 Lions, Lioness and Leo clubs in Minnesota. Lion couple and dog walking together

Lions have long supported Can Do Canines and currently provide 20 percent or more of our annual income. They support many other organizations as well, including the Lions Eye Bank and Hearing Foundation at the University of Minnesota and Leader Dogs for the Blind in Michigan.

Would you like to join forces with a group of

like-minded individuals to support a number of important charitable causes? To join a local Lions Club near your home, email Lion Al Peters at Can Do Canines with your address and contact information and he will help you get the membership process started.

Lionness Clowns

If you’d rather focus your Lions activities on the needs of Can Do Canines, that may soon be available. Lion Al Peters, a member of the Spring Lake Park Lions, would like to start a club at the office of Can Do Canines and make it accessible to all of our staff, graduates and volunteers. It would have most of its monthly meetings by internet communication rather than the conventional dinner gatherings. This club would focus on being ambassadors for Can Do Canines, raising funds to support our work and spreading the word about us to other Lions clubs.

Please contact Lion Al Peters for up-to-date information on the formation of this unique club.
