Small Dog

Can Do Canines is always looking for physically sound, emotionally stable puppies and adult dogs to train as assistance dogs.

Our Hearing Assist Dogs alert their owners to sounds like the doorbell, telephone, alarm clock, smoke detector, an intruder or a baby’s cry. Mobility Assist Dogs help physically disabled people by pulling wheelchairs, picking up or carrying objects, opening doors and performing other daily tasks. Special Skills Dogs offer various combinations of these services to clients with both hearing loss and a physical disability.

We provide the dogs, training and supplies to each client free of charge.
Do you have a dog you might be willing to donate? If you’re a breeder, have you placed a dog in a home where it is no longer wanted? We may be interested—please contact us!
